Arrival
- Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in.
- Class starts on time — late arrivals may need to reschedule to complete all skills.
- Running late or can't make it? Call or text 786-804-2040.
What to bring
- Your booking confirmation (on your phone is fine)
- A pen
- A water bottle and a light snack
- Glasses or contacts, if you need them for reading
What to wear
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. You'll kneel on the floor to practice chest compressions, so skip skirts, dresses and tight clothing. Closed-toe shoes recommended.
After class
Your official AHA eCard is issued after successful completion of the course. Watch for an email from the American Heart Association to claim it.
FAQ
Common questions
How long is my certification card valid?
AHA BLS Provider, Heartsaver CPR/AED and Heartsaver K–12 course completion cards are valid for two years. We recommend renewing before your card expires.
When will I receive my certification card?
Your official AHA eCard is issued after successful completion of the course. You will receive an email from the AHA to claim it, and you can look it up any time at ecards.heart.org.
Are your classes in person or online?
All Pulse CPR classes are taught in person at our Miami training location. We do not currently offer online-only or blended (HeartCode) courses.
How do I book and pay?
Choose your course on our Book a Class page, pick an available date and pay securely online by card (processed by Stripe). You will receive a confirmation email right away.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — up to 1 hour before your class start time. After that, the payment is non-refundable. See our full Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Do you offer private classes for groups or schools?
Yes. Schools, businesses and organizations can request a private group class at our Miami training location. Request a group class.
Can I take the class if I have a physical limitation?
Our courses involve kneeling and performing chest compressions on the floor. Please contact us before booking so we can talk through your needs.
